21 November 1987 marked the start of Jason’s path to Insurance Broking with November 2022 marking 35 years within the industry. Jason completed year 12, and began working for Suncorp and now owns his own brokerage, an amazing feat he is able to proudly reflect on. Jason has had a lot of special moments during his long-standing career, but the absolute best moments that make him feel great has been working with clients from very humble beginnings, and watching them grow to highly successful business over the years. He has been lucky enough to see a number of business flourish in Townsville.

Jason’s 35 years in the insurance industry was also paralleled with his career as a qualified Financial Planner, gaining his Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning during his earlier years, and taking care of many clients large and small to help reach their financial goals. Along with also giving many retiring clients the peace of mind that comes with financial security that was well planned out under his professional advice. Two years ago Jason had to make the call of hanging up his boots as a Financial Planner, as his General Insurance business was growing at such a rapid pace, and now focuses all his attention and efforts on Insurance Broking.

Jason is all about client service and has always been there to personally take care of the smallest things through to the largest and most complex of issues – he lives by: “Don’t be afraid of working hard – it sets the foundations for your future!”

When Jason is not in the office he is either fishing, dreaming about fishing, or getting prepped to go fishing – he claims that he’s not that good but he’s getting there!
