A career as an Insurance Broker wasn’t a path that Kristy had strategically planned out, it was more like something she stumbled upon but after over 10 years in the industry she can confidently say that it is a career that she still enjoys, that challenges her everyday and that she can see herself doing for many years to come.
“The number one thing I enjoy about my job is the clients. My role brings with it the opportunity to learn about and understand so many varying industries. it certainly keeps me on my toes when I hang up the phone from a beauty therapist discussing possible risks involved with laser hair removal and then start talking to a mining contractor working on a dragline excavator. What I really get a kick out of is when I’m able to make a business owners life a little easier by simplifying the insurance process and helping them understand it a little better.
