Our team is expanding and we are seeking enthusiastic IT Systems and Security Administrator to join our fast-paced office in Brisbane.

Responsibilities
Assisting and advising both Head Office and branches on IT and cyber security
- Managing or being involved in projects across the IT spectrum
- Level 2 technical support
- Mentor and provide guidance to our support team for Level 1 technical support
- Maintaining technical support documentation for both Level 1 and 2
- Asset and application management
- Installing and configuring servers and network equipment
- Management of hosted and cloud infrastructure
- Maintain, configure and troubleshoot network and systems security
- Monitor network and systems, logging incidents and issues and identifying any security gaps
- Anticpate potential issues, make suggestions and share ideas to promote continual improvement
- Manage IT projects
- Maintaining patching/updates
- Performing vulnerability and penetration tests and developing disaster recovery plans
- Maintain cyber security framework and documentation
- Configuring and supporting security tools, such as firewalls and anti-virus software
- Training staff and brokers to understand and use security protocols in line with agreed security practices
We are looking for a good mix of the following skills, knowledge & experience
- Experience in a similar Systems & Security role or experience in Systems Administration and a passion to learn cyber security
- Technically proficient in Microsoft cloud suite (Azure, AzureAD, Intune, Exchange Online, Security & Compliance, Sharepoint and Teams)
- Technically proficient in Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications (Server 2012 onwards, Windows 10 onwards and Office suite)
- Experience in Hyper-V Virtual Machine Administration
- Cyber Security Best Practice Experience implementation
- Networking & Security experience
- Previous experience coordinating projects.
- Understanding of Cloud hosting and security including MFA
- Go above and beyond to ensure the best and most appropriate solution is implemented
- Respectfully communicate to end users of all different IT skill levels
- Methodically troubleshoot complex issues
- Prioritise tasks and workload unsupervised
