Our team is expanding and we are seeking enthusiastic Senior Claims Coordinator to join our fast-paced office in Brisbane.

Responsibilities
- Help manage and mentor a team of four claims professionals
- Management and negotiation of high-level claims, including communication with insurers and clients
- Drive improvements across Claims Management
- Advising on coverage and interpreting policy wordings
- Manage a high volume of claim cases from lodgement to finalisation
- Providing an excellent level of customer service to all our stakeholders
- Deliver a highly empathetic customer service experience
- Providing our customers an exceptional and highly responsive end-to-end claims experience
We are looking for a good mix of the following skills, knowledge & experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in insurance claims
- Tier 1 or Diploma in Insurance Broking
- Solid time management skills including the ability to multitask
- A strong and positive work ethic
- Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills with a passion for helping people
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex information, in a structured and simple way
- Attentive and confident when liaising with customers and service providers
- A friendly disposition and a commitment to being part of a team environment
- Works well in a team environment but also autonomously when required
- Computer skills and ability to navigate multiple computer systems
- Passionate about driving continuous improvement initiatives
