Ausure begins 2025, welcoming two ARs to the network
Two new AR's in the Ausure Network
Ausure is pleased to welcome a further two ARs to the Ausure network in the month of January, McRae Insurance Services in Victoria and Lion Insurance Services located in South Australia.
In 2024, Ausure developed a renewed focus and strategy surrounding expanding the Ausure insurance network, streamlining systems, and elevating and expanding services whilst maintaining its sense of community and authenticity.
Ausure’s General Manager of Business Development, Adam Sloan shared, “Ausure has been focused on alignment and other priorities within our group for some time. Still, as we shift towards a more growth-oriented strategy in the CAR space, we are highly selective in choosing who joins the Ausure group. South Australia is a key region for us, and we’re excited to expand our footprint there.
“With their fantastic business model and specialty in licensed venues, Lion Insurance Services is a perfect fit for our growth in that region. In Victoria, we continue to strengthen our presence, and McRae Insurance Services, based in Horsham with a strong rural focus, aligns well with our roots in rural brokerages. Over the last two months, we’ve onboarded three new ARs, with more set to join throughout the year as we continue to grow.”
Adam continued, “We’re excited to have Andrew and the team from Lion, as well as Grant and Jack from McRae Insurance Services, join the Ausure group. Their expertise, values, and strong local presence make them ideal partners as we continue to expand.“
Our Newest AR's
McRae Insurance Services - Horsham, Victoria
At Bob McRae & Associates, their clients were primarily Farm, Motor Trade and Domestic. The business then change to Carr McRae & Associates.
In 1998, Grant McRae became a partner in the business Bob McRae & Associates, where their clients were primarily Farm, Motor Trade and Domestic. Grant brought years of knowledge from his various roles as an employee with GRE, Agostino Pearson and VACC Insurance, and the business then evolved to Carr McRae & Associates.
“We chose to join Ausure as we were unhappy with where we were. After speaking with Adam Sloan and other broker networks, we decided on Ausure as we feel they are a better “Fit” for us, and we will not be just another number.” – Grant McRae, Principal.
Lion Insurance Services - Adelaide, South Australia
Lion Insurance Services was established in 2015 as part of the Lion Consulting Group, which initially specialised in Liquor Licensing consultancy. Expanding into insurance was a natural progression, as it is an essential service for their hospitality clients. Over time, insurance services became a significant portion of the business, enabling them to grow and diversify. Today, Lion Insurance Services operates as a full-service general insurance broker with a client base spanning a wide range of industries.
The team includes Andrew Wong, Managing Director and Head Broker, and Chloe Squires, who joined the team in 2018. Andrew shared, “Together, we bring expertise, dedication, and personalised service to meet the diverse needs of our clients.”
Why We Chose to Join Ausure
“Ausure stood out from other Authorised Representative (AR) networks due to their outstanding support and solutions-oriented approach. In particular, Adam Sloan played a pivotal role in providing us with the guidance and resources needed to transition from our previous network, which we left following its loss of access to the Steadfast Network.”
“Since joining Ausure, we have been impressed by the professionalism, knowledge, and support provided by their team. Every interaction has been positive, and their commitment to making our transition seamless has been exceptional. This partnership has reinforced our confidence in the decision to join Ausure and allows us to better serve our clients.” – Andrew Wong, Managing Director.
“Not just another number”
Although Ausure has a renewed focus on expansion, its commitment to a network reflective of Ausure’s core values stays the same. Each AR goes through an extensive vetting process, assessing them directly or indirectly against Ausure’s guiding principles, customer service and integrity benchmarks. These requirements from Ausure ARs ensure that they maintain a higher level of performance than their competitors and better results for the client.
