The Blended Broking Team was created as a result of the growing demand in the digital and traditional broking space. Ausure recognised that more Australians were going online when searching for insurance to protect their homes, businesses, and farms. Whilst purchasing insurance online has its benefits, it’s important for people to still get a thorough risk assessment and receive quality, trusted advice from an insurance professional when looking to protect against more complex risks. As such, the Blended Broking team was created.

Headed by Adam Sloan, Head of Sales and Blended Broking, the team consists of two divisions – Advice and Digital. Insurance enquiries are sent to the relevant team depending on the complexity of the enquiry or the level of advice required. If you are a Tradie, for example, looking to secure liability insurance to get on-site, you will be assisted by our Blended Digital team. If you own a business with multiple exposures, work in mining, own a farm or perhaps just want the comfort of knowing you have a designated broker on hand – you will be placed with one of our Insurance Broking Specialists in our Blended Advice team.

The Blended Broking team has grown rapidly over the last few months to meet the increase in demand for providing quality insurance solutions to Australians that don’t have time to meet with a broker in person. Twenty-one staff members, consisting of Junior and Senior Account Executives with different insurance specialities including Farm, Small Business, Trades, Mining and Large Corporates are located in Brisbane, Robina, Mackay and Canberra. Having Broking Specialists located in various locations around Australia, allows Ausure to provide advice that is relevant to clients located in those regions. Blended Broking is supported by the Ausure Claims Team which provides superior claims service to clients, managing the entire claims cycle on behalf of the client with the insurer.

In the last 30 days alone, the Blended Broking team handled 1400 requests for insurance nationally, and placed over 1000 insurance policies for clients across personal, business and farm.
