Ausure broker, CPR Insurance Services, wins Community Engagement Award

Ausure Insurance Brokers is delighted to announce a multi-award winning office has won yet another award, this time recognising their community care. Congratulations to CPR Insurance Services for winning Best Community Engagement Program in the Insurance Business Australia Awards for 2021.

With a motto of “We Care”, Ausure insurance brokers across Australia live and breathe in service of their local communities as a natural part of who they are and what they do. This award is indeed excellent recognition of the unseen good work CPR are involved in every day as caring Ausure insurance brokers, as well as the extent to which they proactively engage with community needs in the area. They have been known to check up on the welfare of community members during times of crises and offer assistance, as well as serve the community in a variety of more formal roles.

“Our strategy as an Insurance Broker firm”, explains CPR Director Robert Cooper, “has always been to be engaged with our local community, because we are based and live in a local community in Brisbane. We live in the Wilston Windsor Grange area, and to us it is like a country town.”

It could be the country boy origins of Robert Cooper adapting to a big city, but Mandy herself has also spent time living in the country: “We got to know many people through the local school, the sporting clubs and other community organisations when we first moved to the area. We knew the importance of getting along with the locals. For giving as much as possible to our community. To be involved. To help others in many different ways. When people see this and our name connected to this, then often they will want to support you back.”

“This award means a lot to us. We had been a finalist for the past four years. Always beaten by the big foundations with larger money to donate. We get in and get our hands dirty”.

Zurich won the Insurer equivalent Best Community Engagement Program – Insurer. It is nice to know, CPR Insurance Services were the equivalent in the Broking area,” reflects Cooper.

CPR Insurance Services’s Robert Cooper is President of Rotary Club of Brisbane Inner North Inc QLD and President of the Windsor & Districts Historical Society, JP Volunteer, convenor of the Kedron Brook Business Group and Mandy Cooper is on the Board of ChaplainWatch and co-convenor of the Kedron Brook Business Group. Amongst projects they are involved in organising include the upcoming Wilston Village Christmas Festival, an Australian Citizenship Ceremony, ChaplainWatch Purple and White Ball, ANZAC Day Ceremony, the Lanham May Fair and much more.
