The countdown is on for Ausure CampFest 2026, returning to Ivory’s Rock from Thursday 29 October to Sunday 1 November for another action-packed weekend of Glamping, Rockstar entertainment, amazingly catered food and time together with the wider Ausure community.
CampFest has become one of the most anticipated events on the Ausure calendar, bringing together brokers, families, industry partners and team members in a setting that is a little different from your usual industry event. It is a chance to switch off from the day-to-day, spend time with family and friends, catch up with familiar faces and enjoy everything the Ausure network has to offer.
This year’s event has plenty to get excited about!
Start the Weekend Early
Ausure’s CampFest kicks off from Thursday 29 October, giving you the chance to arrive early, settle in and enjoy an extra day of everything the weekend has to offer. Spend the afternoon exploring the Scenic Rim, visit one of the local cafés, pubs or wineries, or simply get comfortable at camp and start catching up with everyone.
We will have crispy cold drinks with our Chevy Beer Truck on hand, amazing wine, courtesy of Wineology, a sensationally catered dinner and live music into the evening. Super relaxed and fun!
Friday Brings CampFest to Life
Friday is when CampFest really gets going, with breakfast, coffee and the kids’ milkshake bar to start the day before a huge program of activities begins. There will be plenty happening around the campground, including the waterslide, golf simulator with $10,000 Hole in One competition, petting zoo, ice cream van and live music throughout the day. The Chevy Beer Truck and Wineology Wine Bar will also be open, giving everyone plenty of opportunity to settle in, catch up and enjoy the CampFest atmosphere.
And as the afternoon rolls around, things at Ivory’s Rock will start to look a little different as everyone gets ready for one of the weekend’s biggest celebrations.
Halloween Takes Over Friday Night
- Get the costumes ready because Halloween is coming to Campfest on Friday night.
From the afternoon, little kids and big kids alike can start getting into character before everyone comes together for the official CampFest welcome and the all-important Ghastly Group Photo.
The kids will then take over Ivory’s Rock for trick-or-treating and the costume parade, with prizes on offer for some of the best costumes. Once the kids have collected their treats, the celebrations are far from over. The Adults Halloween Party will get underway later in the evening, giving the grown-ups their own chance to dress up and join in on the fun.
With costumes, music, trick-or-treating and plenty happening around the campground, Friday night is shaping up to be one of the highlights of CampFest 2026.
Saturday - Kurt’s Day
Saturday holds a particularly special place in the CampFest weekend as we come together for Kurt’s Day, a day dedicated to honouring the late, great Kurt Nilsen, former Managing Director of Lion Insurance Services.
Kurt’s Day is a meaningful part of Ausure’s CampFest and a chance to celebrate the qualities Kurt was known for – community, recognition and friendship. It is an opportunity for everyone to come together in the spirit of connection, enjoy time with one another and reflect the strong sense of togetherness that sits at the heart of the Ausure community.
There will be plenty happening throughout the day, with pony rides, laser tag for kids and parents, the waterslide, disc golf, the golf simulator, ice cream and live music all part of the program. The Chevy Beer Truck, sensational cocktails and Wineology Wine Bar will also be open, while plenty of space around the campground means you can join in the activities or simply pull up a chair and enjoy the day with friends and family.
Whether you are racing around laser tag, attempting the golf simulator, taking another trip down the waterslide or spending the afternoon catching up around camp, Saturday is about enjoying the day together and making it a fitting tribute to Kurt.
Saturday Night Under the Stars
As Kurt’s Day winds down, everyone will come together for dinner before settling into a relaxed Saturday evening.
At sunset, the kids can get comfortable for a movie under the stars, with popcorn and fairy floss adding to the outdoor cinema experience.
Meanwhile, the adults can put their knowledge to the test in the CampFest Trivia Competition, with prizes up for grabs and plenty of friendly competition expected.
It is a great way to finish a special day and enjoy the final big night of CampFest together.
A Relaxed Sunday Morning
Sunday morning is all about taking it easy, with one last breakfast, coffee and kids’ milkshakes before everyone begins packing up and departing at leisure.
After a weekend of activities, live music, Halloween celebrations and plenty of time spent outdoors with friends and family, there are sure to be a few tired kids – and adults – making the trip home.
What CampFest Is Really About
While there is a huge program of activities to look forward to, Ausure’s CampFest has always been about much more than what is on the agenda.
It gives our brokers, teams, industry partners and their families an opportunity to spend genuine time together away from the usual work environment. Kids make new friends, families get to know each other, and brokers, partners and team members have the chance to catch up properly in a relaxed setting. That sense of community is what makes CampFest such a unique part of the Ausure calendar.
From Friday night’s Halloween celebrations to a very special Kurt’s Day on Saturday, CampFest 2026 is shaping up to be another memorable weekend at Ivory’s Rock.
