Ausure Camping Trip 2023 - Will we see you there?
Planning is well underway for one of the groups favourite events of the year – the annual Ausure Camping Trip. Last year attracted over 120 staff, insurers and brokers from all over Australia to the Canungra Showgrounds on the Gold Coast. The event saw over $50,000 brought to the small local community of Canungra, located in the Gold Coast Hinterlands.
The weekend gives Ausure brokers and insurers the opportunity to come together in a less formal setting and enjoy activities, games, scrumptious food and drinks all whilst kicking back and re-connecting after what has been another busy year in the industry.
The option to bring your family is what makes the Ausure Camping Trip so unique, and is regarded as one of the best things about the event. Whilst most industry events require BDM’s and managers to travel away from their families, the Ausure Camping trip encourages insurers and brokers to bring their families along.
Kurt Nilsen of Lion Underwriting is considered an Ausure Camping Pioneer, being one of the event’s biggest supporters from way back when it first kicked off in 2019. “Camp-vention”, does it get any better? Lion are a proud inaugural sponsor of what has now become an annual event not to be missed. Covid had some positives & this was one of them. Liked minded industry peers coming together to enjoy a couple of days camping, enjoying fireside chats, a couple of beverages & amazing food. Families are made to feel welcome, kids can’t stop talking about how much fun they had. How can you get involved?
All Insurers and funding partners of Ausure are invited to attend the Ausure Camping Trip. However, with limited space it will be a matter of ‘first in, best dressed’ for those who wish to register.
There is a flat fee of $2000 for sponsors attending, that goes towards covering the weekends festivities and secures 2 spots at the camping grounds for you to pitch a tent, hire a campervan or bring your own!
