Ausure Conference Countdown Has Begun!
The conference will be held in Hobart, Tasmania at the esteemed Hobart Grand Chancellor from the 5th-7th March. The conference theme, ‘Come Together’ signifies the first opportunity post-Covid, for the Ausure group to come together again.
What’s on the agenda?
The Ausure Conference will kick off on Sunday night for delegates with the ‘Ausure Magical Welcome Dinner’ at a secret venue. Ausure brokers and staff will board coaches en route to the venue, which promises to deliver stunning views, food and the opportunity to mingle and reconnect with friends and colleagues.
The conference plenary will officially begin on Monday morning. What a way to begin with none other than The Honourable Peter Gutwein – Former Tasmanian Premier, Treasurer, Climate Change and Tourism Minister who will be Keynote Speaker at the conference.
After that, Ausure CEO Scott McCarthy will provide an Ausure update, followed by an insurer presentation by NTI, Mitti, CGU and Arteva Funding. Once the conference is finished for the day, Ausure delegates will be invited to attend the Insurer Market Stall and lunch.
51 insurers from across Australia will be in attendance to network with delegates and head office staff, making this the largest Market Stall Ausure has ever hosted.
The day will conclude with a cocktail event sponsored by NTI at the Henry James Hotel IXL Atrium. Taking our location, Tasmania, into consideration – this event has been themed ‘Be A Devil’ and invites guests to dress in red and black.
With hopefully not too many sore heads from the night prior, the conference will continue Tuesday morning with insurer presentations from QBE Q nect and Dual, followed by the highly anticipated M&M Live Podcast. John Mills, Broking Manager of Ausure, and Mick O’Bree, GM of Operations. The duo will delight guests with their refreshing twist on current insurance topics and an Ausure Senior Management Staff panel. The conference plenary will conclude for the day with an insurer presentation by Chubb.
The Ausure Awards Gala, sponsored by QBE Q nect, promises to bring the glitz and glamour to what is otherwise a relaxed conference and will be the last function for the conference itinerary. Insurers, head office staff and delegates will be invited to come together and celebrate the Ausure Award Winners for 2023.

John Mills has been chosen to lead the conference as MC. Whilst it’s his first time hosting such a huge event, his long history of entertaining the masses is sure to play in his favour and we can’t wait to see his antics (and choice of dress) up on stage for all to enjoy.
