AUSURE AWARD OF EXCELLENCE:

This award is presented to an Ausure branch that performs the best in a comprehensive range of criteria. It’s a highly prized honour for branches to win this top award and in years gone by the winners have been announced with much excitement and delight at Ausure’s annual conferences. This year it was announced at the Ausure Virtual Catch-Up which brought offices together from across Australia.

This award is often referred to internally as the Jim Mcilveen Award of Excellence. This honours insurance veteran Jim Mcilveen, the man who inspired Ausure Founder Wayne Brown to “Have a Go” and who is credited as being a guiding influence on Wayne and the Ausure culture during the early formation of Ausure.

The Award of Excellence highlights the family values of loyalty, integrity and caring (helpfulness) and professionalism which were vital for a business to succeed. These values have been at the forefront of what Ausure is about for the past 25 years.

FASTEST GROWING AWARD:

“Despite the challenges of Covid which have hit many businesses and industries hard, Ausure insurance broking businesses have continued to grow.
Ausure insurance brokers have been working even harder than before, finding innovative ways to stay in contact with clients, even during restrictions, and continued to strive to service clients’ insurance and risk management needs in the most professional, caring and dedicated manner, as they have always done.

Ausure brokers strive to provide excellent service to their clients. However, with insurance prices increasing and insurer risk appetite changing, this has presented increased challenges. In this hard market, insurance brokers have needed to spend significantly more time on each client’s insurance programme in order to minimise insurance cost increases and maintain appropriate levels of cover, wherever possible, for their clients.

However, it hasn’t been all doom and gloom, as some client’s assets, businesses and industries have actually grown and flourished which has increased their need for insurance expertise.

Ausure businesses have knuckled down and many have continued to grow and thrive, despite all the challenges and uncertainties of the past two years. The award is presented to the branch with highest growth in earnings for the FY2021 compared to FY2020. The branch must have been with Ausure for at least 2 years and have a minimum income of $150,000 in FY2020.

To be eligible for this award the candidate must be 35 or younger and an appointed Authorised Representative of Ausure. The candidates must continuously demonstrate commitment to teamwork, professionalism, integrity and continued self-development. They are seen as being an asset to their business and uphold the values of being a respected insurance broker.
