Ausure Supports the 2026 Hogs Tour Across Regional Australia
Ausure is proud to continue its support of the NRL Hogs Tour, a community driven initiative that brings rugby league to regional and remote communities across Australia. The 2026 tour launched in Penrith and continues its mission of promoting grassroots participation while connecting young players with some of the game’s most recognised figures.
Led by rugby league legend Brad Fittler and supported by the National Rugby League, the Hogs Tour sees former players, volunteers, and supporters travel thousands of kilometres to country towns to deliver coaching clinics, skills sessions, and community engagement events.
Ausure’s Role in the Tour
Ausure’s partnership with the tour reflects the company’s commitment to supporting local communities beyond the insurance industry. Through this initiative, Ausure helps create opportunities for young people in regional areas to connect with rugby league, develop new skills, and experience the excitement of the game.
Travis Hargreaves has once again joined the tour, travelling alongside the NRL Hogs to communities across the east coast of Australia. This marks the second year he has participated in the initiative and he reported being overwhelmed by the enthusiastic turnout at the community events and training sessions along the way.
Visible Support on the Ground
Ausure’s involvement goes beyond sponsorship, with the team actively supporting events and engaging with local communities throughout the tour. From helping run skills clinics and training sessions, to assisting at community events, Ausure was there to ensure every participant enjoys a memorable experience.
Reflecting on the event, Travis Hargreaves shared,
“For me it was great to see firstly the programs that are now happening through the PCYC which takes me back to my childhood when these centres were a community hub, that not only promoted exercise and health, but were also a safe place for troubled youths to come to, and eventually open up about anything that was bothering them. The second facet was the NRL clinics, which I found so rewarding seeing the excitement on the kids faces when the Hogs rolled into town. Rugby league is the fibre that binds so many people in regional areas, and it was so enjoyable chatting to, not only the kids, but the volunteers in these areas that give their time to children’s sports!!”
Looking Ahead
Ausure is proud to have partnered with the Hogs Tour, and we are excited about the opportunities ahead. As the initiative continues to grow, so too does its impact on the communities it visits. By supporting programs that promote participation, teamwork, and community connection, Ausure is helping ensure that rugby league remains accessible to young Australians everywhere.
