George’s favourite part of the job is being able to assist and advise his clients with the best possible solution for them. When asked what his most memorable moment of his career was, he replied;
“One of my clients was involved in what originally was a small smoke damage claim to a shop, but it ending up being a claim of over $1M with 10 months of business interruption. During my initial insurance review I ensured that I included BI (Business Interruption) as part of my recommendation, and it was because of this, I was able to assist the client in getting a claim settlement they were exceptionally happy with. LMI Group congratulated me on how well the policy including the BI was put together. “
George urges those that question the value in having someone review your insurance to remember the Queensland floods. Businesses and homes were not affected but destroyed. Only those with the proper insurances came out of it. George’s top three tips when it comes to insurance are:
