Troy is passionate about small business and in particularly facilitating determined people to get ‘’skin in the game’’. He was appointed MD of the Ausure Group in January 2009.


Troy is a practicing Solicitor, having worked in private practice at a firm specialising in Commercial and Employment Law, as well as in the Corporate and Property area. Troy has been involved in the insurance Agency/Authorised Representative industry since 2003 and was previously General Manager of The Chubb Insurance Company where he commenced their broking division. In three short years Troy created a very successful business for Chubb and set up a very strong team to ensure the business continued to grow after his departure. Chubb Insurance honoured him as a Life Member of Chubb Select Brokers.


He has completed a Financial Administration and Law Degree (University of New England), Masters Degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship (specialising in Small Business Finance and Management), Associate Level of Australian Compliance Institute and is a Full member of CPA Australia. Troy has a special interest in financial analysis, decision making and small business financial management. He has received academic merit awards from the University of New England and CPA Australia. Troy is currently working towards a Bachelor of Wine.


Sport, golf, running, rugby union, business: small business and entrepreneurship. He spent 3 months working in South Africa and has a family with three children.


Troy is a Senior Associate Member of ANZIIF as well as a Member of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA), NSW Law Society and the Royal Queensland Golf Club.
