Vickie joined Ausure in 2005 and is responsible for Systems and Technology Management, business systems analysis and development, management of the IT team and strategic technology planning.

Background

Vickie’s IT background has spanned 25 years with the last 16 years with Ausure/AFM. Prior to joining Ausure, Vickie’s role was Systems Management for a building consulting company where she managed all things technology including building a customised software solution to manage the consultancies clients, workload and accounts.

Vickie’s passion lies in systems architecture and strategy, particularly defining and automating workflow processes with available technology tools. More recently, Vickie has been heavily involved in architecting and developing Ausure’s Salesforce platforms and has been delving into the world of innovation and Insurtech.

Vickie’s passion lies in empowering others to believe in themselves and succeed in the IT world. Vickie runs user groups in Brisbane to share her knowledge of Salesforce and help people to get into the Salesforce ecosystem. She also is an ambassador for Ladies Be Architects, a group that empowers other women to become systems architects through training and sharing. Vickie was awarded the title of Salesforce MVP in 2020, one of 9 in Australia and approximately 250 worldwide.

Qualifications

Diploma in Information Systems and Technology. Salesforce Certified Application Architect.
