An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, motived and results driven Senior Claims Coordinator to join our dynamic, fast-growing, and friendly team to service Ausure representatives in claims administration.  We see our Claims division as an integral part of our company as they are here to provide support and guidance to our clients when they need it, at claim time!  If you are someone who cares, is empathetic and is focused on delivering exceptional and prompt service to clients, we want to hear from you.

Ausure is one of Australia’s largest providers of insurance broking services and is not owned by a bank or insurance company. With offices right across the country, our team aims to provide outstanding service and quality advice to its valued customers.


Responsibilities

  • Full management of claims, including communication with insurers and clients
  • Assist with escalations and complex claims
  • Providing an excellent level of customer service to all our stakeholders
  • Advising on coverage and interpreting policy wordings
  • Professional written correspondence, including reports and email
  • Deliver a highly empathetic customer service experience


We are looking for
 a good mix of the following skills, knowledge & experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience within insurance broking or claims
  • Tier 1 or Diploma in Insurance Broking 
  • Solid time management skills including the ability to multitask 
  • A strong and positive work ethic
  • A friendly disposition and a commitment to being part of a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills with a passion for helping people
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex information, in a structured and simple way
  • Attentive and confident when liaising with customers and service providers
  • Works well in a team environment but also autonomously when required
  • Computer skills and ability to navigate multiple computer systems
  • Passionate about driving continuous improvement initiatives
